My Profile
MY PROFILE: My name is Sean Taylor im 16 years old ,and I am a Junior at North Hall High School. I am proud to say im part of the Honors Mentorship Program. I curently intern with Dr. Kelly Hulsey who specializes in Pediatrics. I am a out going fun, loving, and i always try to be nice and respectful whenever possible, I also try to keep my self humble and be thankful for what i have and the great oppurntunities I have been given such as the HMP program. Im currently playing 2 sports, I do Brazilian Jujitsu and MMA 4 days a week. I'm a all honors and AP student except for math because im horrible at it.
MY INTERNSHIP: My internship all started with the HMP program. I heard about this cool program that you could go and intern with doctors of your choice, so i decided to look into it a little more. After a little while of reading up about the program I told myself "this is so for me". I asked my counselors how do i get into this program and they gave me a sheet and said fill this out, so i did and the next thing you know i was being called in for an interview to make sure that i was the right material for this class. i got a call one day saying to go ahead and find a doctor i want to itern with because i got into the program. i was so happy i immediately called Dr. Hulsey if i could intern with her at her office. She said ''Yes", and a month after school started i was in the office taking blood pressure getting the hieghts on kids, wieghing them, taking urine samples, testing blood, learning how to do charting and paper work, and last but not least following the most intelligent women i know "Dr. Hulsey". She teaches me so much stuff and she is so kind to everyone i strive to be like her and my Role Model "Dr. Hosford".
MY FUTURE: In the future i plan to go to college at UNG to get my 4 year degree out of the way, and then i would like to transfer to either, Baylor University, Vanderbilt University, or Emory University. I will be happy
